Enjoy a Colorful Adventure
We offer this tour due to the diminishing daylight and the cooler weather which arrive this time of year. Please bring warm clothing during this time of year so you can have an enjoyable experience!
This ride is suitable for adventurous people new to ATVing as well as experienced drivers. Drivers must be 16 or older with a valid driver’s license. Complimentary snack and drinks are provided. If you have specific dietary needs, please feel free to bring your own snacks. Non-alcoholic drinks only. Drinks must be in a plastic container. No glass bottles.
The Fall Mid-Day Tour leaves the front entrance of Pioneer Park at 11:45 a.m. Please arrive no later than 11:40 a.m. We plan on being back in town around 5 p.m.
If you have transportation and are planning a trip to Chena Hot Springs, our facility is located at 18 Mile Chena Hot Springs Road. Just enter 625 Two Rivers Road into your phone and it’ll take you right to our shop. If you have a morning tour arrive no later than 9:45 AM and the evening tour arrive no later than 7:15 PM. Please let us know if you are going to meet us there so we don’t think we missed you!
The tour meets at the front entrance of Pioneer Park off of Airport Way. We drive 18 scenic miles north of Fairbanks. Ride in our shuttle bus to the trailhead to start your adventure. The guides point out sights along the way, discussing the history of Alaska and searching for wildlife.
At the trailhead, get on your ATV, hear the safety discussion from your guides, and practice driving before we hit the trail.
Helmets, gloves, and goggles are provided. All our machines are equipped with power steering and automatic transmissions for an enjoyable ride!
We ride on a winding trail through the boreal forest for a total of 32 miles. The trail crosses prospector routes, climbing hills, and switchbacks along the way. The trail leads to a scenic overlook, where we stop to enjoy the provided snacks and drinks while watching the sun make its way down.
When the tour is over, we load up and head back to town. Please allocate about five hours for the trip.
