My name is Peter Vredenburgh and I would like to thank you for visiting our website. I have a wife, Cindy and two children, Joshua and Amy. The past 18 years I have managed the local CARQUEST store, and in my spare time for the last 28 years I have owned and operated Flying Dutchman Snow Plowing. Cindy works for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse. My family has lived in Fairbanks for 35 years and both of our children were born here. I’m the president of a local snow machine club, Fairbanks Snow Travelers. The club promotes snow machine awareness, safety, and organizes rides each weekend throughout the winter, weather permitting. My hobbies are ATVing, snow machining, hunting, relaxing at my cabin with family, and fabricating anything with metal. Rick and I became friends when our oldest boys were in kindergarten together. Our daughter’s then became friends and throughout school played soccer together. Our wives keep us in line and are occasionally surprised when a new 4-wheeler or snowmachine ends up in our garage. Our families spend a good portion of May through October on the trails around the Interior of Alaska, putting over 2,000 miles each summer on our machines. Many friends and relatives from across the country have joined us on these trips - which has been the inspiration for Midnight Sun ATV Tours.
